Under the Darwin SADC CWR network project, Alliance of Bioversity International and CIAT, in collaboration with University of Birmingham and SADC Plant Genetic Resources Centre (SPGRC) is carrying out a training workshop, from May 2020 to March 2021 for the sixteen countries of the SADC region. This training programme aims at strengthening the scientific and technical capacities in the SADC region in CWR conservation planning and equip the participants with the necessary knowledge to develop National Strategic Action Plans (NSAP) for the conservation and use of CWR.
